Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2025-04-02T09:24Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
Activity ID: 2025-04-02T09:24:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Note Keyword:
Source Signature Keyword:
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
Morphology Keyword:
J: Jet
Note: Narrow, jet-like CME seen accelerating to the northeast primarily in SOHO LASCO C2 and also farther to the north in STEREO A COR2; the CME is with low confidence associated with a minor eruption with northern deflection from the northeastern side of Active Region 14046 (N10E10) seen starting around 2025-04-02T08:44Z in GOES SUVI 284 imagery, but triangulation suggests that the eruption originates from the far-side, and indeed, moving field lines are seen off the northeast limb primarily in GOES SUVI 284 imagery.

The List of CME Analysis already entered:
Event Type Catalog
Measurement TypeCME measurement type: Leading Edge (LE), Shock Front (SH), Right Hand Boundary (RHB), Left Hand Boundary (LHB), Black/White Boundary (BW), Prominence Core (COR), Disconnection Front (DIS), Trailing Edge (TE).
Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
